  • Countersunk head allows fastener to lie flush with mating surface.
  • Used to "tap" their own mating internal thread when driven into preformed holes in metallic materials.
  • Does not require a preformed hole in wood.
  • Case hardened so surface has a minimum Rockwell Hardness of C45.
  • Manufactured from AISI 1016 steel.
  • Saw slotted for deep even groove.
  • All sizes are fully threaded.
  • Zinc plated to meet ASTM Specification F1941.
  • Screws conform to the dimensions of ASME B18.6.3
