3/8'' X 54'' ELECTRICIAN'S STRETCH BIT

  • Used for boring holes through studs within wall cavities and then "snaking" wire from either direction.
  • Used with rotation only machines equipped with a three jaw Jacobs type chuck.
  • Stretch Bits feature a flexible shaft to allow easy manipulation.
  • Stretch Bits have an Auger type configuration with a self-feeding screw point and a long twist for fast chip removal.
  • Bits have a hole at the both the tip and the top of the shank so wires can be snaked in either direction.
  • The insulated steering guide helps steer the bit while it is hidden inside the wall cavity.
